1. Structure
The height of metal cascade ring is the half of its diameter. There is a tapered flanging on one side and there are window holes on the surface of the metal cascade ring. And there are bending leaves which stretch to the heart of the metal CMR-cascade mini ring. All this make the structure of this kind of metal filler more special.

2. Function
Thanks to its special structure, the distribution of gas or liquid in the packing layer has been extremely improved. This structure also increases the contacting point of gas and liquid, which can reinforce the mass transfer. This also raises the separation efficiency. Compared with the pall ring, the throughout ratio can be improved by 10-20％ and the pressure drop can be reduced by30-40％. Besides, the metal cascade ring filler has thin wall, heat resistant, high capacity, low resistance, etc.
